The “not-so-spectacular” weekend continues with cloudy coverage and the occasional rain shower. Showers are mostly light sprinkles and just enough to keep the roads wet. Otherwise, it’s a cool morning with temperatures near 40 degrees. Temperatures will hang near 40 most of the day and then drop below freezing overnight.
After the showers wrap up, we’re left with abundant cloud coverage and chilly temperatures. Some clearing will take place overnight allowing for a cold morning start to Monday. Temperatures will have a chance to cool down into the upper 20s thanks to the clearing. Partly cloudy skies will stick with us through Monday making for a better-looking day. Temperatures will also warm into the middle or upper 40s. Tuesday should bring in a few light showers, but not much else. Another break comes Wednesday and Thursday with a good deal of cloud coverage before a weak system arrives Friday. The low will tap into some moisture allowing mostly rain to fall. Some wintry mix is possible for higher terrain. Next weekend looks a little better with more sunshine, but cool temperatures.
