As of noon today, temperatures were rising through the mid 80s and humidity had it feeling like the low 90s. Heat will continue to crank in and we should top out in the low 90s while it feels like triple digits. Sunshine and warmth continues through the rest of today. A stray shower or two can’t be ruled out, but we stay mostly dry today.

That changes tomorrow. We’re tracking a more active weather pattern for the middle of the work week. Scattered showers and storms will work in from the northwest as a series of fronts move through. Cloudy skies will increase through Wednesday morning, and the showers will arrive mid to late afternoon. Heavy rain and gusty winds are expected from time to time. As the frontal boundaries stall over the Ohio River Valley, the better chance for showers and storms arrive Thursday. Temperatures will still be hot Wednesday, but we cool slightly with the abundant cloud coverage and rain on Thursday.
