We’re tracking a hot and humid Labor day weekend as a stagnant weather pattern takes shape. Heading out to the Cats game today? Great! Enjoy, but be prepared for the heat and humidity. Plenty of water and shade will be needed. Otherwise, it’s hot, humid, and there’s a slight chance for showers and storms this afternoon. A heavy downpour or a few strong wind gusts can’t be ruled out.
The rest of Labor Day Weekend looks about the same. Rain chances lower even further tomorrow and that trend continue through mid-next week. Temperatures also go up through Labor Day Weekend and will hang around 90 degrees through much of next week. Humidity will be persistent as well. The only good news is that big storms and severe weather will be quelled through the upcoming week due to stubborn high pressure. The next big change in the weather pattern arrives at the end of the upcoming work week.
