Tracking a quiet morning with mostly clear skies and a little patchy fog to deal with. Temperatures are mild in the 70s or upper 60s. It’s going to be a split decision weekend; sunshine to start and rain/storms to finish. Today, if heading out to the game, pack plenty of water. Temperatures are expected to end near 90 degrees and the humidity will be cranked up.

The remnants of Florence, as a tropical depression will move through Kentucky as we finish out the weekend. That means starting Sunday, rain and eventual thunderstorms will move in. The Eastern Counties are the areas most likely to feel the effects. We’re expecting a few inches of rainfall and breezy to windy conditions as the storm passes. Effects will be minor, but caution should be exercised during the next few days. Florence wraps up Tuesday morning and then we’re in for a dry, but summer-like middle of the work week upcoming.
