Summer moves back in for a while as we’re tracking temperatures rising into the lower 80s for the extended period. We’ve already reached the low 80s today and will continue to warm for a few more hours. A few pop-up showers are possible through the evening and some may produce lightning.
Warm and humid weather sticks around for the work week. High temperatures will move into the 80s each afternoon and dew point temperatures will range from the mid 60s to the low 70s. This warm and muggy feeling will be more reminiscent of summer. Each afternoon will have a small chance for pop-up showers and storms. Heavy rain and a few strong wind gusts are all that will be the result. Other than that, it’s a pretty quiet week, with unusual temperatures.
