It’s not long before we start seeing changes in the forecast. Before we get there, we have one more summer-like day to get through. Temperatures are again in the upper 60s or low 70s this morning as humidity prevents us from dropping too much. So it’s a mild and muggy start, and we’ll have a hot and humid finish. The MaxTrack is clear to start out, and we’re not expecting much to form today. Patchy fog is possible in some locations.

If you have a chance early this morning, head outside and see if you can see a few meteors blow past us as we’re still in the peak of the Draconid Shower. Today’s the last of the extreme late summer heat. We’ll still be warm tomorrow, but not as much. Clouds increase through the day Wednesday and showers/storms arrive overnight into Thursday. Rain will begin wrapping up Thursday morning and immediately you’ll start feeling that cool air. Temperatures are still expected to drop into the 50s by Saturday.
