Not the prettiest of weekends but at least temperatures are going up for a bit. Today, we will top out somewhere near 50 degrees with plenty of cloud coverage, so don’t put up the jackets. A few showers will be around as well, mostly light and scattered. Otherwise, you’ll have the clouds and the chill.

Today will be chilly thanks to the clouds. Rain certainly won’t help, so if you’re heading out to the last day of Fall Meet at Keeneland, a jacket that is waterproof isn’t a bad idea. Temperatures will be a little warmer tomorrow thanks to increased sunshine. We should top out in the low 60s. Still, a few showers are possible with an early week clipper diving south from Canada. Things continue to warm spectacularly into the middle of the upcoming work week thanks to abundant high pressure. We will be pushing 70 for an afternoon high Tuesday. Halloween is looking a little more scary with a goof chance for thunderstorms, and yes it will line up with Trick-or-Treat time. Hopefully something changes between now and then, but if not, indoor plans should be made.
