Cool down? In the middle of November? Isn’t that, like, supposed to happen?
Yes, but nowhere near this much. In fact, we’re expecting rare temperatures today and again next week. Afternoon highs will run in the 30s to 40s the next few days. This type of cool down is more often seen in the middle of winter.
Highs today will only make it to the upper 30s, while our *normal* high this time of the year runs in the upper 50s. The good news is, we get more sun through the weekend. Clear skies will also allow temperatures to drop to around 20 degrees tomorrow. Prepare for a cold weekend. Another storm system will bring temperatures down for the middle of the upcoming work week. Before we get there, rain showers are expected through the second half of Monday and we could even see some of the rain transition over to snow at some point on Tuesday.
