We’re tracking a break in the gloomy weather pattern with more sunshine. Higher pressure will allow for a few sunny and dry days as we move into the weekend. So far today, it’s been cloudy and mild with a few spotty showers. Temperatures are up around 5-10 degrees from yesterday putting us in the 50s and 60s.

The second cold front of the big winter storm will be passing shortly. As it does a rush of cooler air will move in overnight. Temperatures will plummet from the mid-50s down to the 30s overnight. Temperatures will reside in the 40s both afternoons of the weekend and low will bottom out around freezing. The good news is, we get some sunshine to go with the cooler air, so it won’t be all bad. Rain and possible thunderstorms look to arrive for the final day of 2018. Still, don’t let that put a damper on your New Year’s Eve Plans. Things dry up for most of next week. Temperatures, however look to keep on dropping.
