Starting with a calm morning, but a cold morning. Temperatures have been running near freezing again due to the mostly clear skies overhead. Clearing will continue as the sun rises and starts to warm us up. A nice southerly wind will aid warming and will allow us to rise a few more degrees this afternoon. Visibility looks good for the most part but will suffer in some river valleys. More rain is on the way along with a big change in temperatures.
We’re seeing more of the same today. Starting with sunshine and will finish nice and mild. A cold start however. Temperatures are hovering around freezing. As we get into the heart of the day, temperatures will warm into the 50s again. A nice afternoon it will be. Clouds increase tonight ahead of a cold front. The front will bring in a few rain showers. Most amounts will range up to a few tenths of an inch, possibly up to a quarter of an inch. The bigger effect will be the cold air looking to bring temperatures down a few pegs. Afternoon highs will drop from the 50s to the 30s and will hang around “normal” for a while. Still, we have some cold air about to be in place.
