Today’s temperatures started off bitter cold, but we’re warming up quickly due to a much needed pattern change. Temperatures are about 15-25 degrees warmer compared to just 24 hours ago thanks to a nice southerly wind. Clouds will increase later today due to the incoming winter storm.

Sunshine and warmer temperatures is making Tuesday a pretty nice day. Snow will begin to melt rapidly, especially since air temperatures have risen above 32 degrees. Rain will begin later this evening as the next cold front moves closer to us. Rain showers will continue through the day Wednesday. Breezy conditions will continue as well. Temperatures will dip through the end of the day Wednesday and as that happens a brief shot at snow will occur. Expect some minor accumulation through the morning of Thursday which could lead to a slippery morning commute. The cold blasts end for the end of the work week and will remain in place through the weekend.
