Wednesday started frigid, but is warming nicely with plenty of sunshine and a light south-shifting breeze. Temperatures have been steadily climbing through the 40s and 50s today and we should end with a nice mild high of 60 degrees. No precipitation is expected until the end of the week.
High pressure is keeping things pleasant outside. Abundant sunshine overhead has been warming us up and will continue to do so through tomorrow. We’ve been warming to about 60 this afternoon which is a 10 degree bump in afternoon highs. Another 10 degrees will be tacked on to tomorrow, making it a warm and partly cloudy day. Showers return to the forecast Friday thanks to a warm front. Otherwise, it’s cloudy and mild. The better chance for rain will be with a strong cold front Saturday. Rain showers will be possible through the entire day, and thunderstorms will accompany the line later in the day. Temperatures fall quite a bit after the front passes.
