Another winter crash in temperatures has a beautiful day feeling cold. Winter set back in for a brief time thanks to the cold front over the weekend. After a hard freeze this morning, temperatures are slowly climbing through the 40s this afternoon. Best we’ll do is about 50 for the afternoon high.

Cold air will continue to moderate through the week as more sunshine continues and winds continue to shift out of the south. Morning lows will eventually get above freezing, and afternoon highs will top out in the 60s through much of midweek. Sunshine continues, mostly, for the beginning and middle of the week. Tuesday, a system out of the south will try to bring some moisture our way, but cloud coverage will be the main change in the forecast. Still, a few light showers, especially in southern counties is not out of the question. The better chance for rain for everyone will be the end of the week storm that will bring showers late Thursday into Friday. Temperatures will remain mild through the system and even after into the upcoming weekend that looks to have plenty of sunshine and warmth.
