Changes Starting Soon

We can tack on another warm and sunny day to the mix as high pressure continues to dominate the forecast. Wednesday has been going smoothly and most of Thursday will do the same. As of now, we’ve warmed another 5-15 degrees across Kentucky and precipitation remains well to our west.

Today has been wonderful outside. Clear blue skies with temperatures warming through the 60s. As we continue through Thursday, most of the changes that occur will be the nice warm up into the low 70s and a bit more cloud coverage through the day. We can thank the warm front for both of these. Even with the added cloud coverage, tomorrow will still be nice outside and whatever you have planned for outdoor activities will be a go. As we move into the nighttime hours, rain chances go back up. Showers look to hold off until the late evening, but a few stray showers could form around and after dinner time. Regardless, as we move overnight, rain chances skyrocket as the next system moves in. Expect scattered rain showers with a few rumbles of thunder through the day Friday. Rain will taper through the afternoon and will come to an end that evening. The weekend will be drier with more sunshine and temperatures warming back into the 70s.
