The week started on a gloomy note after beautiful weather to start last weekend. Things will slowly improve through the next 24 hours and we’ll get back to some sunshine sooner, rather than later. Still, cloudy conditions continue to showers still scattered around the state. Most rain is light to moderate and only making things slippery for motorists.
As we work into Tuesday morning, the rain will be coming to a close. Scattered light rain or drizzle showers are possible through the morning. Mainly, it’s just going to be a cloudy start. As we move into Tuesday afternoon, the cloud cover will decrease and more sunshine will be available. Rain chances also decrease as the day wears on. A nice midweek is expected as the sunshine hangs around and temperatures begin to warm. We will be flirting with 80 degrees Thursday afternoon. Showers and storms return over the weekend, and temperatures will cool again. You will have one nice weekend day, and that looks to be Saturday at the moment.
