Today has been wonderful after getting rid of the fog and low-lying clouds. The sun has been out and temperatures have been warming nicely. Most of the area has warmed into the 60s and low 70s but the southeastern counties lag a bit thanks to slow-clearing cloud coverage. Still, everyone gets warm today.

All signs point to a wonderful midweek thanks to high pressure moving in place. What this means for us will be warmth and sunshine, making this week another “spring” week. Temperatures will cool a little overnight so Wednesday begins chilly, but the afternoon will warm quickly into the low 70s through the day. Thursday will bring in warmer air but will be met with a strong southwesterly wind. Driving could become difficult at times, especially for high-profile vehicles. Roads most affected will be on west-east oriented highways. Clouds increase ahead of the next storm system and as we move into Friday morning, conditions will begin to deteriorate. Expect scattered rain showers through Friday morning, before leaving through the afternoon.
