Okay, enough with the cold already. Warmer air and more sunshine are expected for Easter Sunday thanks to a departing low-pressure system and building high pressure. Things will feel a lot better, especially in the afternoon. Temperatures are currently in the low to mid-40s and will warm quickly once the sun comes out. The only rain showers showing up are in far eastern counties.

Clouds will gradually clear this morning and will expose the sun for most of the I-75 corridor and west. Eastern and Southeastern Kentucky will have clouds through midday. Everyone should see sunshine by the mid to late afternoon as the atmospheric pressure continues to rise. Rain showers are finished for the day, save for a few spots of sprinkles or drizzle. A quick rebound in temperatures occurs over the beginning of the week. Temperatures warm into the 70s and stay put through all of the week and the upcoming weekend. That being said, it’s not all sun and games. Sunshine will be present through the beginning of the week, but as we move through, eventually scattered rain showers show up for the middle and end of the last week in April.
