Last night kicked off a period of active weather that will bring us through the rest of the week and part of the weekend. As of this morning, we’re dealing with a few leftover showers, with a few lightning strikes. Only small areas of the forecast region are getting rain. Everyone else is cloudy and mild. Temperatures are starting in the upper 50s, low 60s.

Mild morning temperatures and wet roads are left after the showers and storms of last night. A few leftover rain showers are left, but we’re not finished with the active weather. Thanks to a stalled out frontal boundary, scattered showers and t-showers are expected through the day Wednesday. Otherwise, you’re in for a cloudy and mild afternoon. Each afternoon through the week brings chances for rain. The best chance will be Thursday into Friday as another front passes. Friday will consist of mainly morning showers but should clear up by the late afternoon. The weekend also seems active with more chances for rain, especially Saturday. Temperatures through late week and the weekend will remain around normal; upper 60s/low70s.
