(LEX 18) — Several school districts announced plans to cancel classes Thursday, as flooding concerns added to the widespread illnesses that had been spurring closures.
Among the schools that will be shuttered on Thursday are those in Breathitt, Elliott, Floyd, Harlan, Knox, Laurel and McCreary counties. East Bernstadt Independent Schools also will be out.
