Stubborn clouds early week

Some mist/drizzle with cool temperatures

A stubborn cloud deck sits over the region for the early part of the work week, thanks to moisture and low temperatures. Some spots have reached the 60s this afternoon, but the majority of temperatures will stay put in the low to middle 50s for the afternoon. Rain has been non-existent on the MaxTrack, but drizzle is occurring making it a dreary afternoon.

Cloud coverage will hang tough for the rest of today and overnight. Other than drizzle or a few light rain showers, things remain calm and cool. Tuesday will feature pretty much everything today had so count on two back to back days of similar conditions. Our first major change in the forecast comes Wednesday with slightly higher pressure. Clouds will clear some, but not completely. Rain fall will be minimal until Wednesday afternoon/evening when the first bands of Zeta start moving in. Rainfall will be abundant through Thursday and overnight into Friday as the storm passes us to the south. We could pick up a few inches of rainfall out of the system before the rain dries up. By Friday afternoon, we’ll start seeing more sunshine. Halloween weekend is still looking pretty good.
