We are almost there. After spending the better part of the last week in the "freezer," some milder days are coming. Tonight will be our last very cold night at least for a little while. Temperatures will settle into the mid 20s under mostly clear skies. Patchy fog will be possible, especially in valley locations. High temperatures return to the 50s across the Bluegrass to end the weekend! Tomorrow also stays dry but there will be an uptick in cloud cover through the afternoon.
A weak system will pass through the Ohio Valley to begin the new week. This will keep our skies mostly cloudy and tamp high temperatures back into the upper 40s. A stray shower could try to sneak in, but the overall pattern remains relatively dry until a cold front marches in late week. Ahead of the front we will see our first seasonal day in over a week on Wednesday with highs in the mid 50s. Rain chances increase Thursday and on the tail a few snowflakes could mix in Friday morning as colder air trickles in. Things turn chilly again heading into next weekend.
