After a little excitement this morning, today turned into a pretty decent February day. Snow showers have wrapped up down south, and the sun is breaking through the clouds around the Bluegrass. Winter will stick around for another day. Under clearing skies tonight, temperatures will drop into the mid teens. Some of us could deal with single digit wind chills in the morning. Tomorrow will be another brisk day with highs in the mid to upper 30s. All-day sunshine should may it feel a little better.
Temperatures won't stay cold for much longer. There's a nice warm up on the way for the weekend. High temperatures will quickly climb through the 40s and 50s. And added bonus it will stay dry! Another round of rain will move in Sunday night and Monday. Winter fans shouldn't give up hope just yet. Rain early in the week will followed by another cold blast that will linger through the end of February. A couple of clippers have also bring chances for snow. Winter looks to make a strong finish.
