HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police say that a man was airlifted after being shot in Cumberland.
Around 9:18 a.m. Monday, KSP said they received a shots fired complaint. When troopers arrived, it was determined that a fight had occurred between a boyfriend and a girlfriend and 49-year-old Daniel Bauer, of Ohio, was shot in the face. Bauer was flown to Holston Valley Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to KSP.
Stephanie Brock, 46, was charged with assault 1, and Kevin Brock, 24, was charged with tampering with physical evidence. They were both put in the Harlan County Detention Center.
The case remains under investigation.
