Low pressure passing to our south will spread a wet and wintry mess across Tennessee, east into the Carolinas and Virginia Thursday. In the Bluegrass, we're in for a mostly cloudy and colder day with highs in the upper 30s. Moisture from that system is punching a little farther north, watch for flurries & sprinkles across far southern counties. But at higher elevations where it'll stay closer to freezing, we may see light snow accumulation (1" to 2") mainly on the ridgetops close to the state line, Bell, Harlan & Letcher county. High pressure builds in Friday, it'll still be cold but the sun will shine to start the weekend!
