The heat is on this weekend! Expect rising highs coupled with rising humidity- highs will climb from the upper 80s Friday to the low 90s Saturday and eventually peak in the low to mid 90s Sunday. With muggy air in place the heat index will be well into the 90s possibly pushing triple digits late in the weekend. With an active storm track over the Great Lakes rounds of showers and storms will graze the Commonwealth but mainly stay out of state. Our best chance for a few showers and storms will stay across the Bluegrass and northern Kentucky Saturday morning.
