This weekend will be active, and very warm for mid-May. A cold front will settle south and briefly stall near the Ohio River Saturday. Ahead of it and along it we'll see a few showers & storms Friday, more widespread coverage overnight followed by scattered storms Saturday. Watch for strong storms and heavy rain late Sunday into Monday as a cold front finally makes a run at the Commonwealth. A gusty (25 to 35 mph) southwest wind will crank Friday, expect highs in the upper 70s to low 80s with above average warmth holding through the weekend.
