After a spectacular fall weekend (aside from the few showers & sprinkles we saw from the remnants of Nestor) Monday is looking active. A strong cold front is headed our way but will also lose steam as it approaches. The severe storm threat is highest across deep south Monday, a few strong to severe storms are possible in the Commonwealth late this afternoon into this evening. Bursts of heavy rain are possible but a quick frontal passage and storm motion will limit localized flood potential. Highs also take a hit- from upper 70s Monday to the low to mid 60s with sunshine returning Tuesday.
