A significant severe storm threat ramps up out west Thursday with Kentucky running the eastern edge of it. Watch for a round of showers & storms lifting along a warm front Thursday, mainly impacting the Bluegrass with a late day/evening break. Another round of strong to severe storms and heavy rain will track through overnight into Friday morning before a cold front follows later in the day. Storms may produce damaging wind gusts and torrential rain that could lead to localized flash flooding early Friday. A flash flood watch is in effect through Friday morning north and west. We should see an overall weakening trend in the line as it heads east. Highs will stay in the 70s Thursday and Friday then tank in much colder territory this weekend!
