An unseasonably cold air mass has descended into most of the country. A FREEZE is likely in many parts of central and eastern Kentucky, so protecting the delicate plants that have popped up may be necessary tonight as lows head to the 20s. It's hard to believe it's mid April.
The chill will ease some tomorrow afternoon as some sunshine returns. Highs are heading back to the 50s, which will still be about 10 degrees below normal. We'll look for a return to normal with the StormTracker Forecast on LEX 18 NEWS.
