An End To The Dry Spell

Showers Spark along Monday's Cold Front

Monday's cold front will finally end our extended dry stretch but will only ding the ongoing drought. Expect scattered showers and isolated t-showers tracking southeast, mainly in the morning for the Bluegrass and into the afternoon southeast. Highs will also cool down, with mostly cloudy skies & rain around we'll top out on either side of 80 degrees. Even though fall begins Monday, don't expect the Autumnal Equinox to tamp down the heat for good. After a few very nice days midweek we'll see weekend heat rising with highs spiking around 90 degrees again.
