SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A champion race horse made a special trip to see some old friends on Saturday.
Two time Horse of the Year, multiple Eclipse winner, and two time Breeders Cup Champion Wise Dan stopped at Old Friends Farm in Georgetown from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday for a special event.
Fans were able to meet and take photos with the thoroughbred, as well as meet and talk with trainers Charles and Amy LoPresti.
The goal of the event was to garner support for after care of retired racehorses.
