After another day of record January warmth we're cooling off Thursday. Morning clouds will give way to afternoon sun and seasonable afternoon temperatures in the low to mid 40s. Increasing clouds will signal the next approaching system Friday but beyond an isolated late day shower most of the precipitation will fire up Saturday. A gusty south/southwest wind will keep it mild and wet with highs in the 50s. It will be cold enough for a brief wintry mix to start and wrap up this weekend's rain.
