LOS ANGELES, Calif. (LEX 18) — Former University of Kentucky guard, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, is a part of a blockbuster trade in the NBA that sends him to Oklahoma City. The move comes on the hills of Kawhi Leonard choosing to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers as a free agent.

The Clippers are sending the Thunder four unprotected first-round picks, one protected first-round pick and two pick swaps, league sources tell ESPN. Those picks go to OKC with Gallinari and SGA.

Gilgeous-Alexander played one season in the NBA after he was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets and traded on draft night to the Clippers. He started 73 of his 82 games in L.A. where he averaged 11 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.
