A strong southerly flow cranks up Thursday and our record high threatening weekend warm surge begins! Highs will soar to either side of 60° thanks to a gusty (20-30 mph) wind. Well above average highs continue to climb, into the mid to upper 60s Friday and eventually peak in the low 70s Saturday. Along with all the anomalous winter warmth, we're in for quite a bit of rain. Expect it to crank up Friday with the heaviest rain likely overnight into Saturday. We'll need to watch for a few strong storms down south Saturday afternoon/evening.
