Lexington set a new record high of 97° Monday, the last day of our hottest and driest September on record! We're blazing into October on a record setting streak with highs soaring into the mid to upper 90s again Tuesday and Wednesday. Cumulus clouds developing in the heat of the afternoon may be the only thing keeping us from hitting triple digits. This is truly historic heat, Lexington's all-time maximum high in October is only 93°.
