MIAMI, Fl. (LEX 18) — In just one day, Kentucky Football has landed two four-star players. Both had de-committed and picked the Wildcats on Monday.
Earlier in the day, it was Columbus, OH Wide Receiver, Kalil Branham. Then, came Samuel Anaele from Miami, Florida who originally committed to the hometown Hurricanes before choosing Kentucky.
BREAKING: Huge story. Cats Illustrated has learned #Rivals100 four-star defensive end Samuel Anaele has committed to Kentucky. @coachclink has now landed two of the highest-ranked players in UK football history in this class alone. Obviously, Kentucky can't comment on the two yet because they haven't signed their letters of intent but head coach, Mark Stoops, reacted on Twitter.
Anaele is a top 100 defensive end and he will be paired with another top recruit in the 2020 class, Justin Rogers, a five-star defensive end from Michigan. Anaele is the 13th commitment in the class and has moved UK to #26 overall according to Rivals.com.
