Our May cold snap will slowly loosen its grip but we still have a couple of very cools days to go. Expect considerable cloud cover with well below average highs in the upper 50s to low 60s Tuesday and Wednesday. We'll also see a few showers creeping in midweek. The good news- that well advertised warm up is still on the way. A pattern shift will set up a summery southeast ridge with a corresponding temperature spike sending highs well into the 70s Thursday and eventually into the low 80s this weekend. A taste of summer after record lows the weekend before!
