We started off the week with stormy weather and now we shift gears to a midweek April chill that follows. Tuesday will be dreary with plenty of cloud cover, well below average highs in the 40s and a few rain showers. It will be cold enough to see a brief mix at times (flurries and isolated snow showers) before the limited moisture departs. After that, clouds break overnight and it gets cold! Lows will tank with the range in the upper 20s to around freezing. A freeze warning is in effect Wednesday morning and widespread frost is expected. Bring in or cover up those sensitive, early season plants.
