LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– The 16-year-old accused of murdering a Fayette County student and injuring another faced a judge Friday.
Malachi Rashon Jackson allegedly shot and killed 15-year-old Kevin Olmeda-Ortiz outside a home on Garden Springs Drive back in February.
A not guilty plea was entered for Jackson. His bond was set at $100,000.
Jackson’s status hearing is scheduled for June 27.
