Fayette County up to five coronavirus-related deaths, 120 total cases

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — As of Thursday at 3 p.m., Fayette County is up to five COVID-19-related deaths and 120 total cases of COVID-19, according to officials at the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department.

Of the five deaths, three have occurred over the past 24 hours. The three new deaths were a person in their 60s, one in their 70s and one in their 80s. The two previous deaths were people in their 80s.

Kentucky is up to at least 680 cases of COVID-19 as of Wednesday evening. Gov. Andy Beshear is set to provide another update on COVID-19 in Kentucky at 5 p.m. LEX 18 will be carrying Beshear's update.
