LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Local ice cream shop, Crank and Boom is once again creating a special flavor for a good cause. This week's flavor is called "Y'all Can't BEE Doin' That."

In past weeks, Crank and Boom has released four flavors honoring Governor Andy Beshear, ASL translator, Virginia Moore and Kenneth Mansfield. Those flavors are: "Candy Beshear" and "Beers with Beshear," "Virginia S'Moore" and "NEXT MudSLIDE KENNETH."

This week's flavor is a take on Governor Andy Beshear's catchphrase from the daily coronavirus briefings. In an email to their fans, the Crank and Boom team says, "This ice cream honors the collective sacrifices we are making together to take care of each other during this crisis. Wanna have a party? Wanna hang out just for fun? Wanna sit together in a theater? Y'all can't BEE doin' that!"

The Y'all Can't Bee Doin' That ice cream is described as bringing back the ice cream shop's honeycomb flavor, made with honeycomb candy. The honeycomb candy is made with local honey from Midway.

$2 from the sale of each pint of Y'all Can't Bee Doin' That will benefit Step By Step Lexington, an organization that supports young moms overcoming obstacles.

Pre-ordering for this flavor ends Thursday, April 23 at 11:59 p.m.
