Toyota is planning to cut North American production by nearly a third from now until October due to the coronavirus pandemic.

That's according to a new report out Monday morning from Reuters. The report also says the company is gradually resuming output at its seven North American sites.

Toyota will build about 800,000 vehicles at plants in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from April through the end of October. That's down 29% from the same seven months of 2019.

A Toyota spokeswoman declined to comment on production plans.
