CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WRCB) – An overpass collapse on the I-75 southbound/I-24 westbound exchange is causing major traffic headaches.
If you are heading anywhere south on spring break you will want to be aware of this.
According to WRCB, a concrete railing collapsed onto the roadway from the I-75 South interchange. All lanes are currently blocked on I-75 north to I-24 west. Responders have also closed the ramp from I-75 south to Atlanta at the split.
A vehicle was struck by the railing and one person was transported to the hospital.
