LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two adults have been displaced following an afternoon fire at a home in Lexington. Firefighters also say they were not able to save the family’s three dogs.
According to Lexington Fire, crews responded to the 2600 block of Woodhill Drive just before 5 p.m. and arrived to visible flames. LFD worked quickly to extinguish the fire, which left significant damage to the home.
A fire investigator is on scene to determine cause, and Red Cross is working with the residents.
