BULLITT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX NEWS) — 30 children are with minor injuries after a school bus overturned in Bullitt County Monday afternoon, according to WHAS11.
The station reports that the crash happened at the intersection of Old Boston and Wilson Creek Road just after 4:30 p.m.
"Kentucky, we have some tough news," Gov. Andy Beshear wrote on social media. "There has been a school bus accident in Bullitt County with multiple injuries reported. First responders and law enforcement are on scene and working quickly to transport those in need of care. We will share more information as available, but for now I’m asking everyone to join me in praying for all those affected."
Lebanon Junction Elementary confirmed that the bus 1515 involved in the collision, and that parents with students involved should go to the site of the collision to pick them up.
