CASEY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX NEWS) — A burn ban that has been in effect in Casey County since June 18 has been lifted, Casey County Emergency Management announced Monday.
The agency reports that rainfall paired with continued pumping of water from the Green River into Lake Liberty have improved water levels. Despite that, water restrictions and conservation remains in effect.
The public is still encouraged to use caution when burning outdoors.
