LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man has been found not guilty in the 2016 shooting death of a Lexington woman.
46-year-old Stephanie Mullins was killed in the early morning hours of August 7, 2016. Her body was located behind an apartment building on Cross Keys Road in the area of Wolf Run Park.
Nearly two years later, a warrant for murder was served to Jarvis D. Garrett, of Georgetown. Garrett was in the Hart County Jail at the time on an unrelated charge.
A Lexington jury found Garrett not guilty in of murder earlier this week. There has yet to be a conviction in the case.
