LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police are warning drivers that traffic Monday will be disrupted around town due to President Donald Trump's visit.

Traffic from Blue Grass Airport all the way to downtown Lexington will be interrupted and heavy throughout the day. Multiple roadways will be closed, however due to Secret Service protocols, police cannot provide specific information about road closures.

Parking downtown will also be limited. People planning to attend the rally should visit the Rupp Arena website and LexPark for additional information.

Fayette County Schools have cancelled all after school programs and practices in anticipation of heavy traffic.

LexTran has also announced detours to their service Monday.
