GARRARD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Multiple crews responded to a now-contained wildfire Tuesday afternoon that destroyed 12 acres of land in Garrard County.
According to the Garrard County Emergency Management, crews from the Cartersville/Paint Lick, Lancaster, Buckeye, and Berea Fire Departments, as well as Garrard County officials responded to the blaze on Calico Road.
The agency reports that all crews are now clear.
