MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Employees at the Valley View Ferry are warning the public through a Facebook post that a telephone pole has snapped and fallen to the ground, south of Lexington in northern Madison County.
According to the social media post, the incident occurred at the corner of Tates Creek Road and Carvers Ferry Road.
Local officials, including the fire department and power company, have been contacted about the possibly dangerous incident, according to Valley View Ferry.
